AM vs PM Skincare Routine

With the never-ending amount of information that is out there about skincare products it can be really confusing to decipher which products you should use in the morning and which you should use in the evening. Here is an example of a skincare routine we would recommend to our clients for the best results.

AM

  1. Rinse with cold water, a micellar water, or a gentle cleanser

  2. Prep the skin with a hydrating mist, toner, or rose water

  3. Treat: niacinamide or vitamin c are great to use during the day to protect against pollutants and brighten the skin

  4. Moisturize: Use something lightweight in the day unless you are really dehydrated

  5. SPF: ALWAYS> FOREVER

  6. Makeup, or not, whatever floats your boat.

PM

  1. Cleanse and double cleanse. Double-cleansing ensures that you get all the makeup, debris, and sunscreen off of your skin before your next step.

  2. Prep with a hydrating mist, rose water, or a toner (not for sensitive skin)

  3. Treat with vitamin C, hyaluronic acid, or AHA. These all work great when they have the evening to do the heavy lifting.

  4. Moisturize. Add in an oil to really pack a punch.

  5. Eye Treatment.

  6. Seal in your skincare with your active such as retinol, azalaeic acid, etc.

Try out this routine for a few weeks and let us know your results!
